A pincushion in a thrifted tea cup. This adorable tiny world shows a classic lighthouse on an island, surrounded by water. The lighthouse has a little brown door. The island has one pin tree and there is a pin sailboat in the water. The cup is celadon green glazed with an incised carp and water design.

The pin cushion is made on top of a solid wool felt ball and is firmly attached to it's teacup. The cup is glued to the saucer. The details are all hand embroidered.
