One of a Kind Ring
A ring I made to look like a mystical cup by hammering, doming and fold forming copper to form a shape of a cup- like- vessel from some far away magical place. The stone at the bottom is a blue spinel cab-representing the looking glass 'drop', giving one the answer to that which he seeks after taking a sip....
The ring cup sits on a sterling silver disc and the ring shank is made of copper wires I twisted and hammered together to form the band, and continues around the cup into the handle.
The colors are produced with LOS and heat.
tumbled, two coats of sealant and a protective wax is given to persevere the patina.
