This Bible verse from Matthew 19:26 and the pretty vines and flowers are hand embroidered using DMC floss on muslin colored fabric with warm and natural batting.
The simple wooden frame has been painted a deep sage green color all over, rubbed with chocolate brown paint, and then distressed for a more rustic appearance. There is no glass to worry over breaking, and the back opening is covered in brown paper and signed with my initials and the year in which it was made. A hanger has been added to the back so that you may hang it from a wall, but it also comes with a dowel that can be placed in the back for a standing accent piece as well.
The frame measures about 8” square and the opening displaying the embroidery is about 3.5” square.
