Welcome to the Victorian vampire theater. I've created a scene from a vampire play in this shadow box. On stage is the vampire Queen at a dramatic moment when she has summoned her followers to gather. The first vampire has arrived and is sipping a drink from a skull goblet. He sits, head bowed, drinking from a skull goblet, waiting for whatever command his Queen issues. The stage backdrop is a stone gazebo in the middle of a forest. There is blood splattered on the pillars and the floor and a mound of blood splattered skulls sits on the floor between the actors. There is a bat raised from the background for a 3D effect flying into the scene. There are red velvet paper curtains along the sides of the stage and surrounding the backdrop. The front of the box features a detailed theater curtain. There are pillars with flowers and vines around them that wraps around the sides of the box. I’ve digitally added skulls to the tops of the columns and as the tie backs on the curtains as well as bats along the top of the curtain. On each side of the curtains are two bats applied in a 3D effect. The colors in the curtains and surrounding pillars are antique pinks, gold and greens. There is a green and gold aged and distressed decorative paper on the back of the shadow box. The entire box has been painted a shimmery antique green and it stands on four skeleton legs. This shadow box will look great on any mantle, shelf or table adding that touch of Victorian gothic elegance to any room.
