Each meticulously crafted art locket holds a miniature print of one of my paintings, enclosed in a glassy dome of shiny resin. Inside there are recessed areas for holding the tiniest treasures, pictures, or photos of your sweetheart.
Turnaround:
These lockets are made to order, especially for you, with the utmost care at every step. While it might be much sooner, you will most certainly receive your locket within 4-6 weeks from the date you place your order (for US customers - for International customers, please allow for the usual overseas shipping times in addition to the 4-6 week turnaround.)
If you order other Black Apple items along with your locket, they will ship when the locket does (so, 4-6 weeks.) If you wish to have the other item(s) shipped sooner, please place a separate order.
Particulars:
-The mini-print is processed on a beautiful, slightly metallic paper, which gives the image an opalescent quality. It's a bit difficult to capture in the photographs, but its really something special!
-The image is nestled in an antique oxidized brass locket which hangs on a brass rolo chain. The image is sealed with a thick, sturdy, glass-like resin coating.
-The chain length is 22" inches, and the locket itself measures 1 1/4"x 1 3/4".
-The locket is fully functional, and opens up to two empty cameos for your own photos or bits.
-Each piece arrives nestled in a black velvet bag, in its own box, complete with a specially designed floral label. Perfect for gift-giving!
About the collection:
I've long wished to offer a tiny, beautiful, wearable-art collection, and this is just what I was dreaming. They're the product of a collaboration between the lovely locket lady, Lori of (www.heartworksbylori.etsy.com) and myself, and it was so fun to dream up the pieces with her! Her craftsmanship is incredible, and the product of our collaboration makes me very proud.
