I can't think of anything cuter then a Maltese puppy, thinking up mischievous. Needle felted soft sculptures make great gifts or additions to a collection. When I give a gift I like to surprise that person. Either with something they want, but don't expect anyone to buy, or a gift that is totally unique. I'm not a shirt and tie kind of gift giver. So, needle felted soft sculptures are perfect to create excitement when the box is opened.
I love puppies and this Maltese puppy is as adorable as they come. At birth they resemble a white ball of yarn. He is busy chewing away at a newly knitted scarf. Has the yarn in his mouth and is not giving it back. As adults they have long, silky hair. This is an intelligent breed and are quick to learn. This wool version definitely has the ahhhh factor. The puppies resemble a Westie mom more then they do a Maltese mom, but that changes with age.
This sweet pup measures 3 inches at the withers and is 5 3/4 inches long from the tip of his black, little nose to the end of the hindquarters. He has the jaunty Maltese tail just beginning to curl over the back. I added silk to give a glisten and soft touch to the coat.
