The lid has been decorated with a polymer clay image transfer of a William Bouguereau painting of a young girl holding a book. I mounted this image inside a hand created decorative polymer clay frame and then rubbed it with olive gold leafing.
I added bits of old jewelry featuring faux pearls in soft pastels and sparkling rhinestones to embellish the frame. Beneath this frame is another "frame" of hand stamped polymer clay that has been burnished with more olive gold leafing and accented with four tiny rhinestones. This tiny second frame holds another image transfer that reads "Create". The inside of the tin has been lined with pages from an antique music book.
It will make a truly unique presentation for that special gift or a neat gift for yourself or a friend. Or just a pretty place to store pins, tacks or whatever.
The tin measures 3 3/4 inches tall by 2 3/4 inches wide and will arrive in an artfully collaged gift box.
