As with all of my designs, the lace motifs were created entirely by hand, using my signature lacemaking techniques and original patterns.
Tiny, stylized lace ivy leaves sprout from14k gold filled wire branches. The leaves were created with embroidery threads that contain real 24k gold, like those used in the opulent textiles of the Middle Ages and Renaissance. The motifs are hand-embroidered with olive green vesuvianite stones and sparkling vintage rhinestones. Sprays of lustrous white freshwater pearls are interspersed throughout and handmade lace flowers and leaves decorate the base of the comb. The ivy leaves are reversible, the backs adorned with simple freshwater pearls.The hair ornament is worn in the hair with a gold plated comb and is lined with a beige vintage ribbon on the back.
Sparkling, intricate, and fit for a fairy tale princess, the comb catches the light with each turn of the head...

99.99% pure silver foil threads used in traditional kimono embroidery (non-tarnishing)
Real gold threads (2% layer of 24k gold over sheet of silver-plated alloy, wrapped around a fiber core)
