The Garland necklace is constructed from sterling silver, copper and a gorgeous little amethyst gemstone. These elements meet to create the necklace I call Garlands. It represents the things we collect along the way...that influence us, that we cherish and wish to hold on to.
I've forged the sterling into a pendant, entwined wire becoming a 1" in diameter circle that has been slightly flattened wih the hammer and given a hand applied patina, and brushed for a distressed, worn in, loved in appearance. Sterling silver and copper embellish the circle, giving balance to the 4mm amethyst gemstone, which has been bezel set in sterling silver. The Garlands pendant is suspended from cable chain that closes with my handcrafted sterling silver hook and eye.
