Ferragamo Schiavone, who was the sister of famed shoemaker Salvatore Ferragamo. Rosina designed shoes from the late 60s into the 1980s. This pair of shoes dates to the 1970s and has all the signs of quality that one would expect from a member of such an illustrious shoe design family.
The shoes are made in a rust brown suede leather with white stitching around the opening. They are made in a dress loafer style. The heels are chunky with a curve at the front that is accented by the gold toned guards that are affixed to the outside of each heel. The heel measures 2 5/8” in height. The insoles are gold stamped “Rosina Ferragamo Schiavone” and the soles are stamped “Made in Italy Florence”. They are marked as a size 10 1/2 AA - the insoles measure 11” in length from the tip of the toe to the back of the insole and the soles measure 3 1/8” in width at the widest. They are in excellent condition - the uppers demonstrate no marking, the insoles are very clean and the soles have only the slightest wear. It looks like these were worn only once, maybe twice.
This is a very nice quality pair of shoes in great condition - Rosina’s shoes are sought after by collectors...
