This necklace features three charming little blue fluorite saucers alternating with bright peacock blue apatite nuggets. They are suspended on a delicate sparkling sterling silver chain. It is fresh, lightweight and perfect for everyday wear.
This petite necklace measures 17" and fastens with a petite sterling silver lobster clasp.
I am happy to adjust the length of the chain upon request for no extra charge. The little beads are just 7mm in diameter. If you would like a variation on this necklace - say, with more beads - contact me to discuss.
Fluorite derives from the Latin noun fluo, meaning a stream or flow of water. The fluorite I used here has a wonderful vitreous luster that seems to capture light and soften it - it resembles the way light looks underwater. It is very high quality with no inclusions or streaks.
