This is the hardware only. You can use most any recycled bottle in the clamp.
My design is an entire copper finish.
Includes:
- mount with base plate and clamp
- coupler with wick
- cap for wick that includes handle described below
- 2 mounting screws
I have made 3 new modifications to my torches:
1 - I modified the top copper coupler that holds the wick so that it does not fall down into the bottle.
2 - I soldered a wire on the copper cap so you can hold the cap and extinguish the flame. The wire has a loop on the end that allows you to hang it from the copper tube that is part of the bottle mount.
3 - Rubber pad inside the clamp so the bottle neck does not get crushed.
These torches are perfect for mounting on your patio in your back yard.
The bottles are recycled with the label removed.
The torches come with bottles in the following colors:
Emerald Green
Olive Green
Brown
Blue
Clear
Torch oil is not included but can be purchased at any hardware store.
Water can be added before torch oil to make it so you don't have to fill the entire bottle. The oil floats on top. You can see in my pictures that there is a line where the water is.
I use USPS Priority for shipping and include free insurance.
