Featured coin: Netherlands 10 cent coin (Minted 1948)
These cufflinks are new.
This type of 10 cent coin was only minted during 1948. This was the first year of the new 10 cent coin design, minted from nickel, after several years during WWII when no coins were produced. While Wilhelmina lived until 1962, during 1948 she abdicated in favor of her daughter Juliana, making this coin type a one-year variety.
The Netherlands is one of the European countries that now uses the Euro. Guilders and Cents are no longer used.
The coins and the cufflink backs are silver tone.
The diameter of each coin is 15 mm.
One cufflinks displays the side of the coin with: an image of Queen Wilhelmina
The other cufflink shows the other side: the denomination "10 CENT", the date minted, and the royal crown.
Minted during the reign of Queen Wilhelmina.
