Oven proof, dishwasher and microwave safe, and the glazes are made without lead.
The microwave bowls are designed to stack one on top of another when storing in the refrigerator to save space. The lid has a finger notch to aid in removing it. This bowl is very durable high fired stoneware; all the decoration is under the glaze and will never fade, scratch or chip off. The bottom part (the bowl) is dipped sideways into glaze which gives the brown bowls an interesting variegated look due to the way iron particles settle on the upper side of the bowl as it is being dipped.
