The first of these albino frogs was a custom order. In order to get the delicate, pale pink of the skin tone, I ended up having to hand dye the yarn myself. The resulting hank of yarn was just enough to create 2 frogs. The first went to the customer who ordered it, and the second is for sale here!
The frog is hand knit from a hand dyed silk/wool blend, and his little innards are needle-felted by hand out of 100% wool. He comes pinned into his wooden 8 x 10 inch frame, but he is not glued down, so you can take him out and cuddle him if you wish. The backing for this frog is a beautiful dark brown cork, or you can choose to have him in an aluminum dissection pan -- let me know in the comments section of your order!
