Who's Lord Tennyson?
Lord Tennyson was the Poet Laureate under Queen Victoria's reign. Tennyson is viewed as one of the most popular poets of the English language and over a century after his death is still one of the most widely quoted writers in all of literature.
This multi-colored design uses delicate shades of cyan and magenta to pay tribute to not only Lord Tennyson but to his dear friend Arthur Henry Hallam as well. Tennyson's famous words are from In Memoriam A.H.H, a poem he wrote to commemmorate Hallam (Tennyson's classmate and a fellow poet who died at a very young age). Tennyson sports a heart shaped lapel pin wih the letters A H H and reminds us all that it is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all
