Silver Lotus Blossoms - Set of Vintage Metal Bowls

Set vintage metal bowls, distressed to perfection. These great vintage pieces have a fantastic radiating ribbed texture. It is a dull nickel color, with touches of copper running sporadically throughout each bowl. These bowls are composed of metal, but actual metal content is unknown. The bowls vary slightly in sizes one bowl measures 2 5/8” tall x 4 5/8” across opening, the other bowl measures 2 ¼” tall x 4 ¼” across. One bowl is marked “Made in Egypt” on the base. The marked bowl has an embossed design at the bottom of the inside. The other bowl is unmarked. Each piece is in good vintage condition having no dents. On the bowl marked “Made in Egypt” at the rim, one of the scalloped rib edges is slightly bent in (see detail photo) and there is also a bit of green wax like residue on the inside of this bowl. The metal finish on both pieces have plenty patina and shabby chic charm, having wear throughout the surfaces and slight tarnish.
