I created this necklace using part of a vintage silk mens neck tie in a nautical white and navy stripe with just a bit of red. Hand knotted and secured with embroidery thread and a touch of hot glue. One silver metal ring is hand embroidered to the back with parts of 2 repurposed silver metal chains. Chain has a simple lobster clasp.
Silver metal chain is repurposed from a piece of costume jewelry. I am not certain of the metal content of the chain, so if you have metal sensitivities please make note.
Neck tie measures almost 4 inches long at the point, and 2 inches wide at its widest point. Total chain length is 28 inches.
