Turquoise Cabachon Necklace

Authentic turquoise, tiger eye and mookaite stones come together to accent the beauty of this turquoise cabochon. The turquoise is versatile with hues of blue, green, brown and black. I carefully wrapped this large cabochon with copper wire and gave it a light liver of suphur patina. I spent considerable time experimenting with an appropriate wrap for this piece. It sat on the work bench for over a month and now after a third attempt, I am pleased with the results. I guess it’s good to incubate and resist closure during the design process. The cabachon measures 2 by 1 ½ inches with the wrap adding another ¼ inch. The beaded strands with the purchased copper and silver toggle clasp measure 19 inches. All it needs now is your face.
