The radio plays AM stations (500-1600) and also includes a mysterious "Special Services" band which is probably an old police band. Sounds great with no scratchy controls or hum. The cabinet is in pretty good shape except for a crack and chip at the back rear of the top. There are a few scuffs and some paint drops here and there on the unit.
Measures approximately 10" wide x 6" high x 5-1/2" deep.
Most antique radios listed on the internet have been picked up at a flea market or auction, dusted off, then offered for sale. But since we have a professional electronics technician in the house, you get a good deal more with this radio.
We have professionally restored this little piece of the past to good working order. It plays loud and clear with no hum. It has been disassembled and thoroughly cleaned both inside and out. The radio has been aligned, any bad parts replaced along with any weak tubes. The original ac cord has been replaced. The radio still has its original back and knobs.
