The personalization is achieved through woodburning. The form the personalization takes is up to you. We can do surnames, monograms, bible passages, anniversary dates - whatever you want. So, add a little personalization to your garden, front steps, back porch or wherever you like - or, better yet - the personalized planter makes a great gift item!
• The reclaimed wood, eco-friendly planter can either be used for plants or candles - depending on the season and your decorating tastes. The design is such that the planter can sit flat on the ground with its arched legs or it can slip onto the banister of your standard sized deck rail (see last picture). The reclaimed wood is cedar and the planter will survive in the outdoor elements for years.
• Please note - pricing varies by length and size of letters that are woodburned. The price for this specific item is an example only and reflects how we would price a 3 letter monogram in large font on one long side of the planter and a medium-long surname in large font on the other long side of the planter. Please drop us a note (click the "Contact" link on the left side of the page) with the approximate wording and size lettering you are considering and we can quote you an exact price. For final approval, we will provide the font in PDF format.
• For autumn / winter - 3 large candles with river rocks or pebbles filled in around them creates a romantic addition to your patio, garden or deck.
• Or for spring / summer - the planter will hold up to 6" potted plants or, with the built in drainage holes, dirt and plants can be added directly to the planter. Perfect for a splash of color with added flowers (as the pictures illustrate) or you could use the planter for an herb or lettuce garden.

o Sized to securely straddle standard sized deck top rails or the planter can be placed on any flat surface where the unique footing keeps the area below the planter dry and free from mold
