There is some variation in each little bump of roving, but this will create an unique yarn when spun. This way of creating roving makes drafting a dream.
This colour-way is inspired by the hedgerows in the lanes around my home, at this time of year they are exploding with new growth in every shade of green, and many more besides. We commonly see wild strawberries, bluebells, violets, herb robert, pink campion, yellow pimpernel and lesser celandine.
Contains Merino, Naturally dyed merino, Tussah Silk, Baby Camel, and added sparkle.
The final picture above shows a small sample of yarn spun up.
