I have been playing with some new designs using my favorite triangle and cylinder bead tricks to create surface texture. These "Bowed Hearts" are first in what I hope will be several new additions to Sand Fibers.

The pattern as well as bead size and shape create a fascinating (and sexy) ripple texture that you can see and feel. The different size and shaped beads used in this pattern result in a wonderful undulating, corrugated 3-d surface. The piece can be worn with either "bowed" side - the convex or the concave - on the outside, resulting in very different looks.

This bracelet is crafted in peyote stitch using Japanese Toho triangle beads in silver-lined frosted zircon blue and Miyuki delicas in a beautiful pearl white. It is approximately 1.6" wide. The band is 7.2" long and and the closure adds another 0.5" to the length of the clasped cuff, providing a very comfortable fit on a 7" wrist. (Please note that because this bracelet does "bow" considerably, some of the band length is lost to to that, especially in the "inverted" mode...accounting for what seems like a shorter fit. This is similar to the sizing issues for strung bracelets with large/bulky beads.)

SIZING

While I cannot adjust the size of the listed piece, I can make one to fit you. If the 7" wrist sizing won't fit you, please provide your wrist measurement and whether you like a loose or tight fit in the message box and I will make this to order just for you.

SHIPPING

This bracelet will be shipped in an elegant gift box using First Class Mail with delivery confirmation. You can upgrade to Priority Mail for $3 by leaving a request in the "Message to Seller" box of the purchase order; wait for an amended invoice.
