Materials: Sterling Silver
Inspiration: When I started doing jewelry I transferred techniques from my architecture background to jewelry making. For this ring I used a technique for building topographical models in which terrain contours are represented by continuous stacking layers. The combination of the smooth shape and the colors is very reminiscent of an oyster. In some rings I added small silver granules to imitate pearl formations.
Colors: The colors are achieved with antiquing solution. They always turn out different.
Maintenance: Avoid soap and water to maintain intensity of colors.
