Made with vetiver, oak, cedar, leads to sweeter mid-notes of ambergris, lemon, orange elemi (resin), pink pepper – the drydown is superb, fascinating. There is nothing floral in this blend, and it 's appealing for both genders. Hermès Eau des Merveilles is my favorite ambergris fantasy—a radiant etude of bleached woods, salty sand and dried seaweed tendrils. Wearing it is like stepping into a Cézanne’s painting of a winter beach; you can almost feel the chilly salty breeze on your skin.
Inspired by the awesome designer fragrance by Hermes called Eau des Merveilles. I believe this phthalate-free replication is extremely close to the commercial version at a fraction of the high price. On my skin, the subtly delicious end notes last over 12 hours. Carried in non-toxic, skin friendly oils, you'll appreciate my smoother opening impression and arrive at the pleasing mid-notes without the initial chemical "assault" of the retail version.
Body chemistry varies from person to person, which means that fragrances settle on each person's skin a little differently. What's great on one person may be less great on another, so if you're not certain, please try a sample first.
