What better way to enjoy summer than surround yourself with nature? As I was growing up, I was very lucky to spend my summers either by the Azov Sea or in the countryside. Now, I really enjoy one-day escapes to the closest hiking spot or anywhere away from the concrete jungle. I find the combination of woodland colors divine - the greens, the browns and the blues - they are so soothing. These earrings are both delicate in the techniques and materials I used and bold in their presence. I wire-wrapped sterling silver circles with fine wire to resemble young tree branches. I then suspended aqua blue chalcedony and brown smoky topaz briolettes from the coiled frames and surrounded them with myriads of bright green chrome diopside and pale green fluorite leafage. All stones are micro faceted and are of premium quality. The finishing touch - sterling silver oxidized to a dark gray patina. These dainty chandeliers are perfect for both every day wear and a dressy occasion. They are very comfortable.
