Painted free-hand with natural dye on Crepe de Chine, a medium-weight fabric. If you would like a lighter, more transparent silk, or heavier, denser silk, just ask. It's stunning both ways.
Silk is a protein and can be washed (with COLD water!) with a little shampoo. To iron, place a thin piece of fabric between the silk and the iron to avoid scorching.
