I started by refinishing the discarded oak cabinet door - at that point, I wawsn't quite sure how I would use the frame, though I've had burlap on my mind (and in m workfoom!) for months. Knowing I love reusing scrap material, our plywood salesman had "jut the perfet thing' for me - remnants of soundboard from the manufacturer of department store bulletin boards! So here you have it a one-of-a-kind country-cozy builetin board that's versatile enough to feel just as comfortable in a farm house as a big city apartment.
Measuring 14-3/4 in. wide x 34-1/4" tall, the organizer hangs by 2 D-ring hangers hidden on the back of the frame. Please keep in mind that irregularities are characteristic of burlap, adding to the rustic charm. I've tried to capture these normal variations in the photos - please let me know if you have any questions!
I've come across some charming old upholstery pins that I think make the perfect pushpins for this board - I"ll be sure to send these along with the board, as well :)
