Once a vintage tea towel, now recycled into a lovely toss pillow embroidered with flowers and trimmed with lace.
I was given this tea towel from a friend many years ago. It was from her grandmother - although she loved it she had no use for it. She knew I could turn into something that someone else could use and cherish.
It can also be used as a ring bearer pillow. You could simply add a ribbon, pinned to the pillow, and tie your rings through the ribbon. After the ceremony, remove the ribbon and display this lovely pillow on your bed or on a shelf. It could be your "something old".
The edges of the towel were meticulously hand stitched. I wanted to show these stitches, so when I made it into a pillow I stitched the side seams right side out to keep the hand stitches showing.
The embroidered stitches of french knots and lazy daisy designs were also hand stitched into a heart shape design.
The edge of the towel has a crocheted lace trim. The back is smooth, no embroidery.
This pretty accent pillow is stuffed with non-allergenic polyester fiber filling. It will be shipped to you wrapped carefully in tissue paper and in a large bubble wrap envelope.
Measures: 9 1/2" wide x 10 3/4" long
