The machine quilting was done in a way that mimics the rhythm of the ocean and gives a sense of movement to the quilt. A variegated thread in marine colors was used on the darker blue fabrics to provide added dimension. The shark was quilted in a close stipple pattern in a grey colored thread.
The quilt measures approximately 42" by 44" which is a good crib/toddler bed size or great as a wall hanging.
