Ideal for reading or as accent lighting, this lamp uses one 75 watt regular or energy-saver light bulb. Its simple straight-line design will enhance any room, space or sanctuary.
Lined with shoji paper (rice paper) that is laminated between two pieces of plastic, this paper is made specifically for lamp construction. The plastic protects the rice paper from yellowing as it ages. There are no images on this paper and is a traditional plain shoji paper. The Walnut has been given a coat of Watco oil to warm the color a bit.
The base dimensions are 8.5" x 8.5" and is felted to protect the surface of your furniture or counter-top. It has an 8 foot black electric cord with an inline on/off switch.
The lamp is signed inside by the artist.
Both function and beauty...it is an ideal match to contemporary, Mission-style or Asian-accented room decor. Vase and picture not included.
