This Tolkien inspired hair pick is based on 'Anduril', the sword carried by Aragorn. (not to be confused with the sword carried by Strider... for those who know or care about such things) I cut it out on a scroll saw from solid oak and hand sanded. The black accents were added with a wood burner. I then applied Danish oil and carnuba wax for a smooth, natural finish that will insert with ease into any hair.
I was willing to bet that somewhere, in all of Etsyland, there had to be at least ONE woman out there who is a fan of Tolkien. Who also happens to have long hair. And a desire to stick a sword into it. Something of a long shot, I admit. But, hey... I got YOUR attention! ;)
The total length of this hair stick is 6 1/4", with the working end being approx. 5". It is 1 1/2" wide at the top and 1/4" thick.
