I spend many hours each week trawling through our local charity shops choosing the best pieces of clothing to reconstruct. All sweaters are washed & dried before I begin each creation to prevent further shrinkage, although further shrinking may occur with wool, so handwashing is recommended, as is drying flat, to ensure your garment lasts for many years to come. All seams are straight-stitched, overlocked/serged, and then top stitched again where needed - made with the utmost attention to detail and made to last! With correct care this creation should last you many years of adventuring. Slight irregularities & the odd wonky seam are the nature of this style and add to their character. Each piece springs to life the moment I pick up the scissors, I never use a pattern, each one is totally unique. Should any threads come loose then please just cut them off, please do not pull. All ends have been tightly finished off so nothing will unravel or fray.
