Condition: There are no chips or cracks. There are some areas with dark flea marks here and there, and a few tiny chip areas in the inside of the scroll pattern. Also some color variation in the center of the plate, but nothing that detracts from the piece. Shiny, bright, and great color.
History: The inspiration for this Fenton design is the "Scroll & Eye" plate made by Challinor Taylor in the 1880s-1890s. The Fenton plate for sale here is smaller then the CT version, and the design of the outermost edge is slightly different. This line was only made between 1955-1957.
Size: 7 1/2'' in diameter with a height of 1 3/4''.
Marking: It has a ray pattern on the base so there is no makers mark.
