Made of muslin, painted and stained, baked, sanded and perfectly primmed, she carries a hand-painted beeswax-dipped saltdough flag ornie hung with blackened wire in her left hand and will come with a primitive tag with "I Pledge Allegiance to the Flag" attached to her right arm.
Her dress is made of specially primmed flag-printed cotton, which is darker than it appears in my pictures taken outdoors, and she measures approximately 17" in length. To keep away the chill, her shoulders are covered in grunged cheesecloth closed with a tiny buffalo nickel button. She is based on a pattern by Chestnut Junction.
She sits well all by herself, but looks just as cute hanging..if you'd like to have that option just let me know and I'll sew on a hanger...I don't use any glue on my gals.
And, as all my creations, she comes from my smoke-free studio.
