That's the first line from the song "Jackson" by Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash, in case you were wondering. It's a personal favorite and, when I saw this fabric, that's what I thought of.
I made this one reversible so, if you spill your salsa on the front, you can just turn it around and continue on your way!
One side is black printed with brightly colored peppers (orange, green, yellow) and has two solid black pockets. The reverse is ....well, the reverse: solid black with the pepper print fabric for the pockets. The waistband is the print on either side.
This apron is designed to sit high on the waist and short in length (mid thigh) to ensure you look "hotter than a pepper..."
All fabrics are 100% cotton and machine washable/ dry-able.
Measurements:
waist across front=22.5" (57.5cm)
Ties=28" (71cm) each
Length from top to hem=14.5" (37cm)
Pocket=4.5" X 4.75" (11.5 cm X 12cm)
I wish I could say this was entirely my design, however, it is an adorable original pattern by the awesome fabric designer Jennifer Paganelli (with her permission, of course!).
