This garland is made from twelve scalloped half circles, 8 inches wide by 5.5 inches long, die cut from several different vintage lace tablecloths, and one lace bed spread. They're all in different shades of antique white, sewn to natural colored twill tape, and trimmed with narrow nylon lace, which is also used for the 16 inch ties on each end. This string of lace garden flags, or bunting, is 11.5 feet long, not including the ties.
Use this garland, which is beautiful on both sides, to add an elegant, shabby chic touch to your garden party, or outdoor wedding, but don't leave them outside permanently, as the delicate vintage lace will disintegrate quickly in the elements. Use them inside to add a romantic touch anywhere in your home- across a mantle, over a door or window, or the head of your bed. Come December, I think this lace garland would be lovely on a vintage or romantic themed holiday tree!
