this is an ORIGINAL antique print from london c. 1801

the print depicts two antelopes - the pigmy antelope and the white antelope - standing and sittingin their grassy green milieu
it is an antique engraving that was hand coloured in natural browns and greens at the time of printing in 1800

it measures 5 x 8" including about an inch of border surrounding the image

it was printed in london in 1801 as part of a natural history book titled "general zoology or systematic natural history"
a copy of the two title pages with the date, publisher and engraver's information is designated

NB. this is an old worn edition of this series as such there are varying spots of foxing and aging... please look at the photos carefully!
