Transparent glass in plum, teal and charcoal gray with a copper mesh enclosure. The copper mesh has turned a similar color violet and if you look closely each diamond mesh has trapped a single small bubble of air (to small to capture in a photograph). This plate was created in two kiln firings and has a satin sheen rather then a full gloss finish. The color selection, simple shape and clean finish make for a sophisticated piece.
