Green Zebras are one of my favorite tomatoes. So, obviously, the most natural course of action was to honor them in pincushion form. Keep all your pins and needles together while adding a punch of color to your sewing table! This felted wool pin cushion was first hand-crocheted from 100% wool. It was then wet felted to interlock the wool fibers and give the fabric more structure. Once dry, I stitched the base to the top, and used a combination of needle felting and embroidery techniques to finish the details. The bottom has a cardboard base so that it sits flat. Pincushion measures about 2 inches across, and 1 3/4 inches high.
