RESERVED - ON HOLD -Special Price - Reduced from $4500 - Native American jewelry is always so beautiful. This incredible Native American, Navajo silver and highly prized Bisbee Turquoise squash blossom necklace was a purchase from the Heard Museum in Arizona in the 1980s. The necklace is, of course, older than that. This necklace weighs in at 248 grams of silver and turquoise. This hand made artisan necklace measures 31" long with the naja adding another 3-1/2" in length. This necklace has not been cleaned as many collectors prefer a vintage patina. No artist markings are evident on this piece. Thirteen pieces of rare Bisbee turquoise in the naja and another fourteen pieces in the necklace itself for a total of 27 pieces. Although unmarked for silver content, this piece is sterling. Jewelry older than 50 years, in the case of this piece, may not be stamped to the silver content since it was understood to be so. In excellent vintage condition. Ideal for the serious collector of Native American jewelry.
