This stoneware serving bowl was thrown and altered into an organic 'flower' shape. It is glazed in Farmhouse Morning, which has Turquoise and Khaki Brown, with a pool of Matte Yellow glaze. Farmhouse Morning has a timeless vintage feeling, like that perfect Zen moment when all is well, and life is lived in balance. The bowl is 4" at the base, opens to 9" at the rim, and is 5" H. It is very light, and perfectly balanced. It will hold a generous 8 cups of salad, snacks, rice, etc, or about 10 pieces of medium sized fruit.
All of my glazes are formulated for maximum durability, and this piece will be as rich and glossy 100 years from now. I always enclose a studio card that lets you know it is dishwasher, oven, and microwave safe. My commitment to environmentally friendly practices is detailed in my Profile, if you are interested.
PHOTOS: The piece that you receive has the same dimensions, glazes, quality, and shape as these photos. I relist a piece with an existing photo only when the match is very close; otherwise a new photo is taken and posted. If you love the photo, you will love this piece!
