This unique item is made from an antique foundry pattern used in sand mold making in a steel foundry during the early 1900's.

The cast form was used as a Hatch Door Opening for a boiler or furnace in a sugar refinery, made from anow extinct type of Honduras mahogany in Costa Rica, cira 1890's

This piece has been carefully restored and hand polished to it's original luster and beauty. It will surely make a great conversation piece for your home or business. It can also double as a shelf to showcase other unique items.
