Galaxies is a gorgeous ring full of cosmic splendor and delightful whimsy! I fabricated this girl from sterling silver and a hand cut copper backplate, setting a supremely patterned and glittery dichroic glass cabochon onto the surface. This cabochon sparkles and shines with hues of green being the dominant color, and colors spanning the rainbow making an appearance, she's definitely an eye catcher! Encompassing the cabochon are sterling silver “moons”, and one copper "satellite" for an organic feel. Galaxy has been given a distressed patina to add depth and drama, a wonderful backdrop for the dichroic glass. I've left Andromeda very rustic, a heady mix of intense beauty and strong ruggedness.
