All of the original buttons and snaps are there and in perfect condition. The patches include a Air R.O.T.C. patch which is a WW II air forces patch. Also a Air Transport Command patch and a XXIV Corps patch (the blue and white shield). There is also a wreath patch which denotes a member of a distinguished unit. Lastly there is a ribbon pin in red and green with gold filigree and an oak leaf on the pocket.
This jacket buttons up the front with hidden buttons and snaps at the waist. The waist is adjustable with metal belt closures. The coat has an inside pocket and two front breast pockets.
It has a hang to loop collar 42S...O.D. Officers, Union Made in Philadelphia, pattern date October, 1944, purchased April 23, 1945, issued October 28, 1945.
