This mug holds 14 ounces of your favorite beverage. Glazed in a food safe clear glaze that can be microwaved and put in the dishwasher. Fired to over 2,200 degrees in a ceramic kiln. Just as with a ceramic teapot, if it's cold out warm up mug in hot water before adding boiling water to it but heating milk or water in a microwave is fine. I usually microwave mine for 3 minutes.
