Victorian hot air balloons... they certainly knew how to travel, those Victorians. Not for them being cramped nose to armpit on an overcrowded unfriendly tube, or looking out of the window and trying to ignore the madness of the 36 bus. No, they flew in highly decorative hot air balloons. Mostly. Cute little brooch is hand-drawn and coloured onto shrink plastic, shrunk down to approximately 1.75"/4.5cm and fastens with a bronze tone pin fastening. The basket is suspended on antique bronze plated chains. The coloured side is spray-sealed to lock the colour in, but I wouldn't recommend submerging it in water, just in case you were thinking of it.
Perfect for travelling around the world in 80 days!
