Volmer Bahner Red Guilloche Enamel Flower Necklace

This lovely enamel necklace is 16 inches around and a little over 1/2 inch wide. The links are alternating curved rich red guilloche enamel panels with white enamel flowers on a red guilloche background. It is marked VB for the Danish artist Volmer Bahner as well as sterling on the back of the slide in clasp. The sterling is covered with gold vermiel and the links are connected with thick sterling rings. It's in wonderful shape, it's simply breath taking. Circa 1950.
