The way this listing works:
Just message me if you would like to place an order, and I will set up a custom listing for you. From there we will discuss your theme and color choices, and payments are requested to be made in 3 installments. One at the time of ordering, the next when the chair is halfway finished, and the 3rd when the chair is completed. We will be in touch with you throughout the chair making process sending pics so that you can see your chair in progress.
Whether you want to be a woodland fairy in a chair made in shades of brown, a mermaid at the beach with shades of blue, grey and white, a groovy Woodstock hippie chick with a tie dye look chair (orange, yellow, purple, red, blue etc) the possibilities and themes are endless! The story behind this chair♥
My mom had found a box full of old patterns and pics that she had saved throughout the years as she too was always knitting or sewing or doing some sort of crafting. In the box was a pic of a chair called "Neptune's Throne" but there was no pattern. I showed it to my hubby and asked him if he thought he might be able to figure out how to make something similar so that I could use it for taking pics wearing the vintage dresses. It took awhile, a lot of sweating, (and a little cursing) but the result is his own variation of this beautiful back in the day hippie chair.
This chair is in memory of my mom, she has since passed away and didn't get to see it completed. I'm wearing her vintage 70s dress in the pic.
If you would like to purchase a floor frame for this chair, we have seen them available online and in home center stores, you would just have to check the various sizes that are available to be sure that the chair fits it.
If you chose to hang your chair from a ceiling beam be sure to consult with a professional to ensure that your chair is properly hung and installed.

These chairs are for adults only.
Cord is 6mm polypropylene, rings are made from hand formed 1/2" steel.
Weight Capacity: up to 300 lbs or consult your professional for his opinion to suit your needs.
Chair seat measures approx. 30" across
Height from chair/seat ring to top ring is 49" high; from top ring to hanger ring is another 25", so total height of chair is approx. 74". Chair can be made a bit shorter in height if you would prefer.
Shipping Cost:
We will need your shipping location to quote you a ship cost, (it is usually approx $35 domestic shipping) so please message me with your area and I will get back to you. This chair will be packed and shipped by a professional shipping company that we used to use when we had our retail location.
