design that won't break the bank. Each of my creations are made with antique fabrics, trims, beads, and laces dating from the 1800s to 1930. The silk is hand dyed to create a warm focal point in any room.
This "Victorian Jazz" shade is dyed a soft pink to a silver grey. It is embellished with a floral pattern silver metallic lace dating to the 1910s. Jett beaded trim adorns the central panels and the bottom is beaded with jett beads that are original and date to the 1890s. The other cut crystal beads are attached to the original gold metallic bullion trim and is from Germany and dates to 1920. Amazing textiles and trims give this piece a Gothic Victorian meets the New Orleans Jazz era. I also pictured it with an Asian Dragon pillow to show the versatility of style.
The candleabra base dates to 1926 and has a patent. It is newly rewired retaining the old hardware which includes an antique switch and original candle covers. Base is a deep bronze almost black with gold accents. The finial has a dark bronze patins with a Chinoisserie design.
